

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Fire crews responded to a 2nd-alarm residential fire Monday at a home on the 900 block of Walters Street in Northampton County.
The blaze was reported around the time firefighters arrived to find smoke and flames showing from the roof of a two-story residence. Command immediately struck a second alarm due to the active fire conditions.
As of now, it remains unknown if anyone was injured. Additional companies were called in for manpower and to assist with suppression, ventilation, and checking for extension through the attic and upper floors.
Crews are still on scene working to bring the incident under control. No word yet on the cause of the fire.
