Lehigh County | Route 100 & Wartman Road
Emergency crews responded to a serious motor vehicle accident with entrapment Thursday in Upper Macungie Township.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Route 100 and Wartman Road and involved two vehicles, according to initial reports. One of the vehicles was found on its side, with responders reporting heavy entrapment of at least one occupant.
Firefighters and rescue personnel worked to stabilize the overturned vehicle and began extrication efforts using specialized rescue tools. EMS crews were on scene to provide medical care to those involved.
