Horry County Fire Rescue is now accepting applications for its next recruit class.
According to the department’s hiring flyer, no prior experience is required. Recruits will be trained to become firefighter/EMTs through the agency’s Training Academy.
Applications are being accepted through Monday, April 27, 2026. The approximate start date is listed as mid-July, with starting pay of $50,500.
