The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 5:30 PM for portions of eastern Pennsylvania and northwestern New Jersey as strong storms move through the region Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 4:42 PM, meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm near Coffeetown, west of Allentown, moving east at around 35 mph.
⚠️ MAIN THREAT:
• Wind gusts up to 60 mph
• Heavy rain
• Small hail possible
• Downed trees and power lines possible

Residents are urged to move indoors immediately and stay away from windows as the storm moves through. The National Weather Service recommends taking shelter in an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
