ALLENTOWN, Pa. — One person was killed in a shooting Thursday night in the city of Allentown, according to officials.
The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. on Washington Street.
The Lehigh County Coroner confirmed that one person was pronounced dead as a result of the shooting. The victim’s identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
At this time, it is not known whether any suspects are in custody.
The Allentown Police Department is investigating the incident. No additional details have been released.
