At around 8:30, fire crews were called to the 700 block of Ridge Street for a kitchen fire. Upon arrival, they found flames coming from the home, which resulted in the issuance of a second alarm. Significant damage was done to the house, but the fire was brought under control within an hour. It is currently unknown if anyone was at home at the time or if there were any injuries.
