A windy and unsettled stretch of weather is moving in, with temperatures falling through the day and gusts strong enough to make travel and outdoor plans tricky at times.

Today:
Showers taper off by late morning, but colder air rushes in behind the front. Temperatures fall to around 34° by late afternoon, with west winds increasing to 20–25 mph and gusts potentially reaching 45 mph. A tenth to a quarter inch of rain is possible before it ends.

Tonight:
Skies turn mostly cloudy and it stays blustery. Lows dip to around 24°, with continued gusts up to 45 mph.

Tuesday:
Partly sunny but cold. Highs near 31°, with another round of strong west winds, gusting up to 45 mph again.

Tuesday Night:
Mostly cloudy and chilly. Lows around 22°, with lighter winds of 10–15 mph and gusts to 25 mph.

Wednesday:
Mostly cloudy with a high near 34°. Southwest breeze 10–15 mph.

Wednesday Night:
A slight chance of snow (about 20%). Mostly cloudy and colder, dropping to around 19°.

New Year’s Day:
Partly sunny and cold, with highs near 27°.

  • Friday: Mostly sunny, high near 28°
