UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. — Emergency crews were called to the SpringHill Suites in the 3800 block of West Drive shortly before 5:30 a.m. for a reported commercial structure fire.
A second alarm was struck as crews arrived and began investigating a heavy smoke condition on the second floor of the five-story hotel.
The building was evacuated while firefighters searched for the source of the smoke. Crews located a burned refrigerator on the second floor and ventilated smoke from the building.
No injuries were reported.
