In Bethlehem, a bus accident involving an SUV resulted in the SUV driver being cited for reckless driving. The accident occurred at the intersection of E. 4th St. and Edward St. around 2 p.m., and it involved a bus and an SUV. Three students on the bus suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital, while both drivers reported minor injuries but did not require hospitalization. Video footage from the school bus and statements from witnesses indicated that the SUV was traveling westbound on 4th St., crossed the double-yellow line, and collided with the school bus. The SUV driver was cited for reckless driving, careless driving, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and driving on the right side of the roadway. No violations were reported for the school bus driver. Both the school bus and the SUV were towed from the scene.
