Eagles Drop Third Straight as Errors Costly in Loss to Chargers

PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles fell to the Los Angeles Chargers on MONDAY, marking their third consecutive loss during a frustrating stretch in which the offense has struggled to find its footing.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts had a difficult afternoon, delivering several off-target throws, a costly interception, and multiple misreads that halted drives. The mistakes repeatedly handed momentum back to the Chargers, who capitalized on short fields and Philadelphia’s stalled possessions.

Despite some bright moments — including key scrambles and mid-field completions — Hurts’ errors overshadowed the positives, continuing a trend that has plagued the team during this downturn.

Philadelphia’s offense overall looked out of sync, with protection issues, penalties, and failed third-down conversions limiting production. Red-zone opportunities also slipped away, forcing the Eagles to settle for field goals instead of touchdowns.

Defensively, the Eagles held strong early, keeping the Chargers in check and preventing big plays. But as the offense failed to sustain long drives, the defense eventually wore down, allowing Los Angeles to pull away late.

With the losing streak now at three, Philadelphia faces critical questions about offensive adjustments, execution, and leadership heading into the upcoming stretch
