RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Multiple fire companies responded Monday to a working residential structure fire in the 300 block of Dickert Road in Richland Township.
Emergency dispatchers reported heavy fire showing from the Alpha side of a two-story residence upon arrival. Firefighters from numerous departments across the area were called to the scene and worked to bring the blaze under control.
The fire was eventually placed under control after an aggressive attack by responding crews. Mutual aid companies from surrounding communities assisted at the scene.
At this time, the cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
Fire police assisted with traffic control while crews remained on scene conducting overhaul operations and checking for hidden hot spots.
