Fatal Car Crash on Route 33: Driver Identified

The Northampton County Coroner’s Office has released further details regarding a tragic car accident that occurred on Route 33 on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

The driver, Ventsislav (Vince) Bilyarov, a 62-year-old resident of Wind Gap, PA, has been identified as the sole operator of the vehicle involved in the single-vehicle accident. The crash happened on Route 33 North, approximately at Mile Marker 11.4 near the Belfast Exit. The coroner’s office has ruled the cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries, classifying the manner of death as an accident.

According to statements from the Pennsylvania State Police in Belfast, the vehicle lost control and veered off the roadway, ultimately striking a tree on the east side of Route 33 North. The passenger traveling with Bilyarov was transported to St. Luke’s Anderson Hospital with suspected minor injuries.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact PSP Belfast and reference incident number PA2025-203873.The coroner has identified the name of the individual involved in the motor vehicle accident on Route 33 North in Bushkill Township on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Pennsylvania State Police Belfast state that the vehicle lost control and exited the roadway. The car struck a tree after going off the road on the east side of Route 33 north.
The passenger of the vehicle was transported to St. Luke’s Anderson for suspected minor injuries, police say.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Belfast referencing the incident number PA2025-203873.
