
WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. — Federal agents conducted two armed law enforcement operations in separate Whitehall Township neighborhoods on Thursday, drawing a significant response from local, state, and federal authorities.
According to an FBI spokesperson, agents were carrying out court-authorized law enforcement activity at multiple locations within the township. Officials did not disclose the nature of the investigation or what prompted the operations.
One of the operations took place in the 2100 block of Columbia Avenue. A second location involved in the activity has not yet been publicly identified.
Pennsylvania State Police confirmed troopers assisted federal authorities by providing support personnel during the operations.
Authorities have not announced whether any arrests were made or if evidence was recovered as part of the raids.
The investigation remains active.
