POTTSTOWN, Pa. – A late-night fire has destroyed an apartment in Pottstown. The incident occurred just before midnight in the 200 block of North York Street.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find heavy flames pouring from both the front and back of the building. According to the Pottstown Fire Chief, the fire originated in a garage that was attached to a second-floor apartment. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Fire crews are scheduled to return to the scene this morning to continue their investigation.
