A fire broke out in the cabin of an engine at the Good Will Fire Co. Station 69A located in the 700 block of East High Street in Pottstown, Pennsylvania on Thursday night. The Pottstown Fire Department reported the incident through a statement on social media. Fortunately, the fire was put out quickly and confined to the apparatus only. However, the incident caused smoke damage to two ambulances, a fire rehab unit, the Pottstown Fire Police response unit, and bays. One firefighter was taken to Pottstown Tower Health Hospital for smoke inhalation evaluation by Good Will EMS. The officials assured that the ambulance service and the ability to respond to 911 calls for assistance remain intact.
