In the late afternoon in Lehigh County, multiple calls were received reporting a shed on fire close to a house. Firefighters were responding when they received additional information that the fire had spread to the house. Fire crews arrived at Hawthorne Rd in Salisbury Township to find heavy fire showing from the rear. A second alarm was transmitted for more manpower. The fire was under control within the hour, but the residence sustained fire damage. Additionally, the temperature soared close to 100°F in the area.
