PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Minnesota Wild 3–2 in a shootout, extending their road winning streak to four games.

Philadelphia battled Minnesota through a tightly contested matchup that remained even after regulation and overtime. Both teams traded goals during regulation before the game moved to the shootout to decide the winner.

For the Flyers, Emil Andrae and Owen Tippett scored during regulation to keep Philadelphia in the game. Minnesota also found the net twice to force overtime.

After a scoreless overtime period, the contest moved to the shootout where Travis Konecny scored the decisive goal for Philadelphia. Flyers goaltending shut down Minnesota’s attempts in the tiebreaker to secure the victory.

The win continues a strong stretch for Philadelphia on the road as the team continues to build momentum late in the season.

Philadelphia will now look to keep the streak going as they head into their next matchup.
