HILLTOWN TWP., Pa. – Authorities have confirmed that an 89-year-old woman found dead in her Bucks County home last week was fatally shot.
The Bucks County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Anne Turner, who died from gunshot wounds to the back and chest, officials announced Tuesday.
Turner was discovered deceased inside her home in the 2500 block of Rickert Road around 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, according to a news release from the Hilltown Township Police Department.
The incident remains under investigation, with detectives working alongside the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office.
