Rodney Bass, 36, was sentenced Tuesday by Common Pleas Judge Charissa J. Liller, after pleading guilty in September 2025 to felony counts of statutory sexual assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16.
In addition to the state prison sentence, Liller sentenced Bass to 28 years of probation, resulting in a 40-year period of total supervision, according to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.
Felony charges of aggravated indecent assault of a victim under 16 and corruption of minors, and a misdemeanor charge of indecent assault, were withdrawn at a June 5 preliminary hearing.
Liller also ordered Bass to comply with Tier 3 Sex Offender, requiring him to register as a sex offender for his lifetime.
On Sept. 19, 2024, detectives at Quakertown Police were informed of an allegation of sexual assault occurring over an extended period of time at a borough home. Investigators interviewed the teenage victim at St. Luke’s Upper Bucks Hospital, police said.
