MOORE TWP., Pa. (July 28, 2025) — A family has been displaced following a house fire that tore through their home in Northampton County on Sunday night.
The blaze broke out just after 8:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of Windy Lane in Moore Township, according to emergency dispatchers.
Fire crews arrived to find heavy fire conditions and quickly went to work battling the flames. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Officials say two pets managed to escape from the burning home. The American Red Cross is now assisting the displaced family with emergency shelter and support.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
