


ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Several people were injured Thursday afternoon when a vehicle slammed into a seafood market in Allentown, authorities said.
The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. at the Elias Fish Market, located in the 100 block of Tilghman Street, according to Lehigh County dispatchers.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and began treating multiple victims for injuries. The severity of those injuries has not been confirmed.
Photos from the scene show significant damage to the building’s front entrance, with debris scattered on the sidewalk. Police, fire, and EMS personnel remained on site as of mid-afternoon.
The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been released, and it is unclear whether the driver will face charges. Tilghman Street in the immediate area was temporarily closed while crews worked the scene.
Authorities say the incident remains under investigation.
