Fire Reported in Rear of Home on Sugar Maple Court; At Least One Person Evaluated by EMS
HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Northampton County, Pa. — Emergency crews responded Sunday night to a reported dwelling fire in the 400 block of Sugar Maple Court in Hanover Township.
According to initial dispatch information, firefighters were called to the scene for a fire in the rear of a residential structure. Upon arrival, crews began investigating the source of the fire and checking for possible extension into the home.
At least one individual was evaluated by EMS at the scene. The extent of any injuries has not yet been confirmed.
Fire units worked to contain the situation while ensuring the safety of occupants and surrounding properties. It is not yet clear what sparked the fire. The incident remains under investigation.
