SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Emergency crews responded to a serious crash at the intersection of Route 309 and Hilltop Road in Springfield Township after reports of a vehicle collision that left one occupant trapped.
First responders arrived on scene and worked quickly to stabilize the vehicle and begin rescue operations. Fire crews used specialized equipment to free the trapped occupant. The extent of injuries has not yet been released, and no additional information about other occupants or vehicles has been confirmed at this time.
Route 309 experienced delays in the area while emergency crews operated. Motorists were asked to use caution and avoid the area if possible while responders worked.
