PIPERSVILLE, Pa. — Fire crews from across Bucks County and surrounding areas were called Tuesday afternoon to battle a large fire at a scrap yard on the 6700 block of Old Easton Road in Pipersville.

Heavy Fire Conditions

The blaze, reported around [insert time if known], quickly escalated as flames spread through piles of scrap material. Thick smoke could be seen rising from the property, prompting dispatchers to call in multiple mutual aid fire companies to assist local crews.

Mutual Aid Companies Working

Units from several surrounding departments responded to the scene to establish water supply and assist with suppression efforts. Firefighters worked to contain the flames and protect nearby exposures while additional tankers and manpower were requested to rotate through the incident.

Roadway & Community Impact

Old Easton Road in the area of the fire has been heavily impacted, with closures and traffic detours as emergency crews operate. Residents are advised to avoid the area and allow responders to work safely.

Injuries & Cause

At this time, there is no word on injuries. The cause of the fire is not immediately known and is under investigation by local fire officials.
