READING, Pa. – Fire tore through an apartment building in Reading overnight, prompting a large emergency response.
The blaze broke out shortly after 1:00 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of North Fifth Street.
Fire crews struck a third alarm, calling in multiple departments to help battle the flames. Firefighters worked through the night to bring the fire under control.
As of now, there is no word on injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
