Second Fire in Two Weeks Engulfs Building

In a concerning development, the fire chief has confirmed that a second fire has occurred in the same building within two weeks. Fortunately, officials reported that the building was unoccupied during this incident, as residents are still displaced following the previous fire. The blaze was reported shortly after midnight, prompting fire crews to respond. Firefighters battled the flames for several hours, and the chief indicated that they are expected to remain on-site for the next few hours to ensure the fire is fully under control. Flames were visibly tearing through the structure. Multiple fire companies were dispatched to manage the two-alarm fire, and dispatchers have confirmed that there were no injuries reported in connection with this incident. In related news, PPL indicated that about 250 customers in the vicinity were without power overnight.
