BETHEL TWP., Pa. — Several people were hurt after a multi-vehicle crash late Wednesday night on Interstate 78 in Berks County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash happened just after 11 p.m. in Bethel Township.
Troopers said multiple vehicles were involved in the wreck, which forced the closure of the eastbound lanes between exits 13 and 16 for several hours overnight.
Authorities said multiple people were transported to area hospitals following the crash. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
State police are continuing to investigate what led up to the crash.
