


ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Allentown police are investigating a shooting that left one man seriously injured Tuesday evening.
Authorities say officers were dispatched at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, to the area of 7th and Chew streets after receiving a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency crews quickly rendered aid at the scene, and the victim was transported to a local hospital. Officials said his injuries are considered serious, but no further details on his condition were immediately released.
The investigation into the incident is active and ongoing. Police have not released information on a possible suspect or motive.
