Police are warning customers to check their bank and credit card statements if they recently shopped at two Royal Farms locations in suburban Philadelphia. Skimming devices have been discovered at the registers of Royal Farms stores in Collegeville, Montgomery County, and Marple Township, Delaware County, in the last few days.

On Saturday, November 9, Marple Police were informed about an illegal electronic skimmer that was found on a cash register at the Royal Farms located at 2130 West Chester Pike. According to a post from Marple Township police on November 12, 2024, the skimmer appears to have been placed on the register at least a week before it was discovered.

Authorities are advising anyone who made a purchase at the Marple Royal Farms between November 1 and November 9 to review their bank and credit card statements for any suspicious transactions. If you have any information, please contact Detective Joe McGettigan at (484) 427-8173 or via email at mcgettigan@marplepolice.com.
