FRANCONIA TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Univest Bank in Franconia Township was evacuated and closed early Thursday following concerns about a powdery substance found on an envelope.
Police said the envelope had been used by a customer making a deposit at the bank near Harleysville Pike and Allentown Road. Two bank employees reported feeling unwell after the possible exposure.
Franconia Township Police and the Bucks County Hazardous Incident Response Team responded around 1 p.m. and investigated the substance. The hazmat team found no evidence of hazardous materials.
