UPPER MACUNGIE TWP, Pa. – Drivers in Upper Macungie Township are being asked to avoid a busy stretch of roadway after a tractor-trailer became stuck under a railroad bridge Tuesday.


The incident is on Schantz Road at the railroad underpass, just west of Ruppsville Road. The truck is wedged beneath the bridge, blocking traffic and causing backups in the area.
Crews are on scene working to free the vehicle and safely clear the roadway. Drivers should expect delays and consider using alternate routes until the scene is cleared.
