MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. — A late-night fire tore through a residential garage in Upper Macungie Township on Wednesday, prompting a swift response from multiple fire companies.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the 5900 block of Royal Fern Road around 9:15 p.m. after reports of flames coming from the attached garage of a two-story home.
Video from the scene showed firefighters working inside the garage and along the home’s exterior as smoke filled the air. Crews stretched hose lines and worked quickly to keep the blaze contained to the garage area.
Officials said no injuries were reported, and all residents safely evacuated before firefighters arrived. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
