WHITEHALL, Pa. — Emergency crews responded to a reported apartment fire in Whitehall on Thursday.
The incident was reported at 1519 Athens Drive in the Olympic Gardens complex, where firefighters were dispatched for a fire in a second-floor apartment with people reportedly trapped.
At least one person was rescued from the building, according to initial reports from the scene.
The incident was described as a room-and-contents fire. Additional details on injuries, damage, and what may have caused the fire were not immediately available.
