
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Woman Dies Weeks After House Fire
A Bethlehem woman has died after being injured in a house fire last month.
Officials say Christine L. Garganta, 50, was pronounced dead Thursday afternoon.
The fire broke out on April 23rd just after 8:15 p.m. in the 2100 block of Princeton Avenue in Bethlehem, where crews responded to a residential structure fire.
According to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, the cause of death was smoke inhalation due to the fire, and the manner of death has been ruled accidental.
The Bethlehem Police Department and Bethlehem Fire Department continue to investigate.
