NEW HANOVER TWP., Pa. — Firefighters from across Montgomery County and neighboring communities responded to a 2nd Alarm house fire Wednesday at a home in the 2700 block of Stacie Drive in New Hanover Township.
The initial response was quickly upgraded to a 2nd Alarm, bringing in additional mutual aid companies to assist crews battling the blaze.
The home sustained extensive damage as firefighters worked to bring the fire under control. Multiple fire companies remained on scene for an extended period conducting suppression operations and checking for hotspots.
At this time, there has been no official information released regarding injuries or the cause of the fire. The incident remains under investigation.
