PERKASIE, Pa. — Firefighters responded Monday evening after a fire broke out inside a classroom at Pennridge North Middle School on North 5th Street.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the school during the evening hours and quickly worked to bring the fire under control. Officials said the fire was contained to the classroom area and did not spread throughout the building.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and officials have not released information regarding the extent of the damage. An investigation is underway.
The incident occurred while school was not in session, with students currently on summer break.
