QUAKERTOWN, Pa. — A Quakertown Community High School girls flag football coach has been relieved of his coaching duties as police investigate a video authorities believe was sent to players.

The Quakertown Community School District identified the coach as Winfield Huber, who served as a high school girls flag football coach. The district said Huber did not hold an instructional position with the school district.

In a letter dated August 17 and sent to QCHS flag football families, school officials said Huber had been “relieved of all coaching duties” effective immediately and would no longer be associated with the high school’s athletic program.

The letter, signed by QCHS Building Principal Dr. Mattias van ’t Hoenderdaal, also states that Huber is prohibited from contacting current players, parents or school staff members.

Families were instructed to immediately report any attempts by Huber to make contact through phone calls, text messages, email, social media or in person. School officials also said Huber is no longer authorized to direct, instruct or interact with student-athletes in any school-affiliated capacity.

The removal comes amid an active law enforcement investigation.

According to information provided by Richland Township Police, the department is investigating what the police chief described as a “creepy” video that officials believe Huber sent to players.

Police said that, at this time, no alleged victims have come forward and no charges have been filed.

Investigators are also looking into the possibility that additional videos and text messages may exist.

The school district’s letter did not describe the contents of the video or specify the reason Huber was removed from his coaching position.

“Our sole focus is maintaining a secure, focused, and supportive environment for our student-athletes,” the school said in its letter to families.

The district said information regarding coaching coverage for upcoming practices and competitions will be provided ahead of the spring season.

Public sports coverage from earlier this year identifies Huber as Quakertown’s flag football coach, including coverage of the team’s 2026 season and a July feature involving a Quakertown player continuing her flag football career at Saint Joseph’s University. (Suburban One Sports)

The police investigation remains ongoing. The existence of an investigation does not indicate that a crime occurred, and Huber has not been charged with a crime in connection with the matter.

First Source News will continue to follow this developing story and provide updates as additional information becomes available.
