LOWER MILFORD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A motorcyclist who died following a crash Sunday afternoon in Lower Milford Township has been identified by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio identified the motorcyclist as Michael A. Silvers, 44, of Hereford.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:49 p.m. Sunday in the area of Beverly Hills and Sheridan roads in Lower Milford Township. According to the coroner’s office, Silvers was operating a motorcycle that was involved in a collision with another vehicle.
Emergency personnel performed CPR on the motorcyclist following the crash. Silvers was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 1:50 p.m.
According to Buglio, Silvers was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
An autopsy determined the cause of death was blunt force trauma, and the manner of death was ruled accidental.
Authorities said three people were inside the other vehicle involved in the collision. All three were reported uninjured.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
