
LOWER SAUCON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Fire crews responded to a fully involved dwelling fire early Wednesday morning in Lower Saucon Township.
The fire was reported at approximately 12:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Apple Street. A second alarm was transmitted to bring additional crews and equipment to the scene.
Crews also had to deal with two large propane tanks that were reportedly off-gassing. At least one person was taken from the scene by ambulance. The person appeared to be awake and talking, but their condition is unknown.
Early scanner reports indicated a possible house explosion may have preceded the fire. Neighbors reportedly heard a loud explosion before the fire broke out. The cause has not been confirmed.
The Lower Saucon Township Police Department and fire crews responded. Additional information was not immediately available.
