ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A 29-year-old man died after a shooting Monday evening in Allentown, police said.
Officers were dispatched around 5:13 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, to the 700 block of North 9th Street for a report of a shooting. They found a 29-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Allentown EMS took him to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Allentown Police are investigating with the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, and the Lehigh County Homicide Task Force. Police say there is no immediate threat to the public.
No arrests or suspect information have been released. Police say there will be no further comment at this time.
