Fire broke out in several homes in Lehigh County on Monday morning, causing extensive damage to multiple townhomes in Whitehall Township. At least three connected townhomes were consumed by intense flames, with firefighters called to the area of Carolina Avenue and Fernhill Lane at around 11 a.m. Emergency services were working to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further through the row of six homes. It is currently unclear whether anyone was injured or what caused the fire to start.
