A little before 1 pm, a resident on Shelly Road witnessed a mailman getting out of his mail truck with an armful of mail and dumping it into a wooded area along Shelly Road in Richland Township. Police were notified and came to take a full bag of mail away. The United States Postal Service will be handling the investigation from here on out. It’s unclear if this is the first time that he has done this. We have reached out to the postal office and have yet to hear back from them.
