Late-Night Fire Displaces Family in Walnutport

A late-night fire has forced a family out of their home in Walnutport, Northampton County. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday on the 300 block of Birch Street.

According to the Walnutport Fire Chief, two adults and one child will be staying with relatives after the fire caused damage to the back of their home. Firefighters responded to the call and found that the kitchen, dining room, and living room had been affected by the flames.

The Red Cross is currently assisting the family in their time of need.
