HILLTOWN TWP., Pa. — Authorities are investigating the death of an 89-year-old woman as a homicide after she was found dead inside her Bucks County home Thursday evening.
Hilltown Township Police responded around 7:20 p.m. to a residence in the 2500 block of Rickert Road, where the woman was discovered deceased. Her identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The case is being treated as a homicide, officials confirmed, but further details — including the cause of death or any potential suspects — have not yet been made public.
The Hilltown Township Police Department is leading the investigation with support from the Bucks County Detectives, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office. The Crime Scene Unit from the Central Bucks Special Response Team was also called to assist at the scene.
