LEVITTOWN, Pa. — A late-night shooting in Middletown Township left one man dead and two others injured in a residential neighborhood of Levittown on Saturday, according to police.
Authorities say the shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Quickset Road. Middletown Township Police responded to a call reporting gunfire in the area.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a man lying outside the home with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Inside or nearby the residence, police located two more victims — a man and a woman — both suffering from gunshot injuries. They were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and are expected to survive.
Investigators believe all individuals involved in the shooting were acquainted with each other. Police also said preliminary evidence suggests at least two of the men were armed and exchanged gunfire.
No arrests have been announced as of Sunday morning, and the investigation remains active.
