SALISBURY TWP., Pa. — Authorities are investigating after a man was found deceased early Friday morning in a field along the 1400 block of Gaskill Avenue in Salisbury Township, Lehigh County.
According to officials, Salisbury Township Police were called to the area around 7:24 a.m. Friday, where they located the body of an unidentified male. Emergency responders confirmed the man was deceased at the scene.
The Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, the Lehigh Valley Homicide Task Force, and the Pennsylvania State Police Forensics Unit all responded and are assisting Salisbury Police in determining the cause and manner of death.
Investigators have not yet released the man’s identity or any details surrounding the circumstances leading to his death.
Authorities said this is an active and ongoing investigation.
