
TRAPPE, Pa. (Montgomery County) — Trappe Fire Company No. 1, along with numerous mutual aid departments, responded to a residential house fire early Sunday morning in Trappe Borough.
The blaze was reported around 2:05 a.m. in the 600 block of Mulenburg Drive, prompting a full response from area firefighters. Upon arrival, crews encountered an active fire inside a two-story residence and immediately began suppression efforts.
Multiple neighboring departments were called to assist with manpower, water supply, and rapid intervention support as crews worked to bring the fire under control. Firefighters remained on scene for an extended period conducting overhaul and ensuring hot spots were fully extinguished.
No injuries have been reported at this time, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. Local fire marshals are expected to review the scene later in the day.
