Police were called to a residence on the 200 block of Edward Lane Saturday evening  after reports of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds inside the home. Despite efforts by emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neighbors reported hearing several gunshots and seeing a heavy police presence shortly after. Investigators spent several hours processing the scene overnight, with the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office assisting.
The victim’s name has not yet been released pending notification of family. No arrests have been announced, and police have not released details on a possible motive or suspect.
Authorities are urging anyone with information or surveillance footage from the area to contact Catasauqua Police or the Lehigh County Homicide Task Force.
