UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. — At least one person has been killed after a violent single-vehicle crash Monday night in Upper Saucon Township.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 9:15 p.m. to Flint Hill Road, just east of Forest Drive, for a report of a car that had slammed into and wrapped around a utility pole. Arriving units found a heavily damaged vehicle and multiple victims.
According to township police, three people were injured in the crash. Officials said Tuesday that at least one person has died, though it remains unclear which of the victims succumbed to their injuries.
Utility crews and investigators remained on scene for an extended period due to the severity of the impact and the condition of the pole.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Police have not released the identities of those involved.
