
SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. — A pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in South Whitehall Township.
South Whitehall Township Police responded to the 3300 block of Hamilton Boulevard shortly after 11 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
Police said officers found a man suffering from serious injuries. He was treated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
Hamilton Boulevard was temporarily closed while officers investigated the crash and processed the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the South Whitehall Township Police Department with assistance from the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. Authorities have not released additional information about what led to the crash.
